I am so grateful to God for the Vision that he has given to me, to reach our and help other children, youth and even adults to dealing with and live with Lost of A Parent to Murder.
It has not been a easy task, to step out from the norm, and be BOLD against what seems to be a tradegy to some. However, you can't tell my story and neither can I tell yours. If you have never experienced what I have then sit back and listen.
My father who was a Awesome Man, who served in the US Army and US Marines, who also attended the University of Floirda (Until His Death) was a Model Father, who loved life, family and was very intelligent and had a purpose in life.
Unfortunately, on July 12th, his life ended right before me, when he was shot in COLD Blood by his brother (my uncle). Initally, I was shocked, my family tried to shelter me and hide me from what was going on, however I knew, saw and heard everything that was said and being said.
Here I was a 9 yr.old lil' girl, who loved her father, now watched her father fight for his life. I always had the dream that my parents would married, and here we had just went and purchased a engagement ring for my mom, he was to propose that evening of his murder.
Well, I endure the pain, anger, adn hurt, and now I am able to use that energy to help others who have experienced that type of pain, and encourage them to not let what family, life and statisics say you should be or become, MAKE YOUR OWN CHOSES!!!!
EVERYONE WILL NOT SUPPORT YOU, BELIEVE ME!!!
BUT YOU KEEP ON, LET THEIR NEGATIVE WORDS AND ATTITUDE PROPEL YOU INTO THE PLACE TO WHERE GOD WANTS YOU.
REMEMBER DELAY IS NOT DENIAL, AND ONE'S PERSONS TRAP FOR YOU, IS YOUR TESTIMONY TO THEM & OTHERS!!!!!
Daddy,
I love you, and I will use your MURDER to make a difference by HEALING ONE HEART AT TIME!
Your Daughter,
